The Addis Ababa institute of Technology Student Council (AAiTSC) strives to promote a vibrant school culture to create a sense of belonging and to enrich the school experience for all students and staff. As role models, we lead by example, influencing our peers through our words and actions. Fuelled with passion and drive, we venture forth and break new ground, taking the lead in all endeavors. Motivated, we serve the Institute and community through servant leadership, committing ourselves to the welfare of Addis Ababa institute of Technology.

Background:
The Student Council has strived towards bringing for the vibrancy of Institute culture and enrichment experiences for all. Fuelled by passion, loyalty and service to the institute, our past and present councilors have worked hard to create a colorful and vivacious institute environment, in the hope to create a sense of belonging for the student population and staff.
The current strength of the Student Council is 26 members. There are 10 EXCO members made up from the various committees. Each of the committee holds a different job scope and expectations. Comprised of young and passionate students spanning five levels, the Student Council is a motivated group that is always ready to serve our Institute and community through servant leadership.
The Student Council will work hard to create a platform for nurturing servant leaders of tomorrow. By displaying exemplary conduct and excellence, student councilors will role-model and lead by example. To achieve this goal, the Student Council eventually hopes to initiate and organize leadership programmes for students of Addis Ababa Institute of Technology.
The vigor and passion of Student Councilors can never be extinguished and for this reason, all of us can look forward to an exciting year ahead as Addis Ababa Institute of Technology continues to soar to greater heights.
